Rising Broadway heartthrob Jeremy Jordan, who earned a 2012 Tony nod for his starring role in Newsies, is joining the second season of NBC’s musical drama as a series regular, TVLine has learned.
Great casting! Please note how Ausiello is NO LONGER citing Will Chase as part of the departing cast, but only Brian d’Arcy James, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero. Because Will Chase is at the very least going to be in a few episodes next season. Which is what we knew from the start, given Will Chase said himself he IS going to be in S2.

Will IS returning for season 2 of Smash. Not only that but this is the best 30 minute interview I’ve ever listened to (and will continue to listen to repeatedly). Will’s voice…I could listen to him talk and giggle forever - seriously, I wish he could narrate my life. He and Christian are super funny and such a joy to listen to together! I want more podcasts like this! :D
